Compared to Phantom of the Opera, Into the Woods, and many other Broadway shows, this 74 minute CD was created over a three year period in California and recorded primarily at Banquet Sound Studios in Santa Rosa with Darryl Webb as the recording engineer, and on a couple of selections, as co-producer and performer. The original storybook version, this CD is a preview of the full two hour show. Great foley effects, Zoe Vandermeer sings, plays piano, harpsichord, baroque triple harp, folk harp, recorders, is the narrator. Zoe Vandermeer is the author, composer, lyricist, producer and performer. The album cover features her original artwork. All of her work is copyrighted. ASCAP.

The solo album Angel's Wine, the Songs of John Dowland in which Zoe Vandermeer accompanies her singing on baroque triple harp, won 2nd Place for Best Classical Album in the 2002 JPF Awards.
